What workwear do solar panel installers need?
Most crews wear hard-wearing work trousers with knee-pad pockets, branded polos or t-shirts, a softshell or fleece mid layer, a waterproof jacket and safety footwear. Specialist PPE for working at height and electrical work depends on your own risk assessment and the scheme or site you are working under.
Can you add our company name and phone number?
Yes. A left-chest logo with a web address or phone number on the back is a popular combination for installers. Logo setup is free on orders over £150.
We only have two fitters. Is there a minimum order?
No. There is no minimum order, so you can kit out a small crew now and add matching kit as you take on more installers.
Do you supply hi-vis for commercial installs?
Yes. Hi-vis vests, jackets and trousers are available for sites that require them. Branding is kept clear of the reflective tape so the garment keeps its rating.
Can we try sizes first?
Yes. Free 48hr samples let your fitters try trousers and jackets over their usual layers before you place the branded order.
