Branded Polo Shirts & T-Shirts
The most-worn garment in almost every business, and usually the first thing people order. Embroidered or printed with your logo, in the colours you want, with no minimum order and next-day dispatch on stock.

Whatever else a team wears, they almost always wear a polo or a t-shirt underneath it. It is the layer customers see, the layer that gets washed most, and the cheapest way to make a team of five look like a proper company. Get this one garment right and the rest of the uniform builds around it.
Every sector uses them
Trades, hospitality, cleaning, retail, warehouses, gyms, schools, events. The garment is universal even when nothing else is.
Cheapest branding per wear
Because they get worn constantly, the cost of branding spread over the life of the garment is lower than anything else you buy.
Easy to reorder
Sizes are well understood, stock is deep, and we keep your logo on file, so a single shirt for a new starter is straightforward.
Polo or t-shirt?
They are not interchangeable. The collar changes how formal the garment reads, which changes where it belongs.
Polo shirts
The collar makes them read as a uniform rather than casual clothing. Right for anyone customer-facing: engineers visiting homes, reception, hospitality, retail, management on site.
T-shirts
Cooler, cheaper and more comfortable for heavy physical work. Right for warehouse teams, summer site work, labourers, events crews and anywhere the polo collar adds nothing.
Plenty of businesses buy both: polos for the customer-facing side, t-shirts for the yard or the workshop, same logo on each.
What to look at when choosing
Fabric weight
Measured in gsm. Heavier fabric feels more substantial and generally lasts longer, but wears warmer. Lighter is more comfortable in heat but shows wear sooner.
Fabric type
Cotton is comfortable, polyester holds colour and shape, poly-cotton splits the difference. Our workwear fabric guide covers the trade-offs properly.
Colour
Colour affects both brand fit and how quickly a shirt looks tired. Our workwear colour guide covers picking one you will not regret.
Fit
Men's, women's and unisex cuts all sit differently. Women's fit is worth specifying rather than sizing down. See our women's fit guide.
Moisture management
Performance fabrics that move sweat away from the skin are worth it for physical outdoor work and for anyone on their feet all day.
Wash resilience
Work polos get washed hot and often. Fabrics that hold colour through repeated hot washing keep a team looking uniform rather than mismatched.
Embroidery or print?
Both work well on polos and t-shirts. The right answer depends on the artwork and the placement.
| Embroidery | ||
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Small chest logos, sleeves | Large front and back designs |
| Look | Raised, stitched, premium | Flat, sharp, full colour |
| Fine detail | Needs simplifying if very fine | Handles fine detail and gradients |
| Many colours | Costlier as colours increase | Handles multi-colour easily |
| Typical use | Polos, fleeces, caps | T-shirts, full backs |
The most common combination is an embroidered chest logo plus a printed back. Full detail in our embroidery vs print guide, and placements in the logo placement guide.

Common questions
Is there a minimum order?
No. You can order one branded polo or five hundred. That matters most for adding a new starter later without paying a setup fee again.
How many should I order per person?
Most businesses land on three to five per person, so there is always a clean one while others are in the wash. Physical, dirty trades tend toward five.
Can I mix men's and women's fits in one order?
Yes, and you should. The cuts differ in the shoulder, chest and body shape. Our women's workwear fit guide explains why sizing down a men's shirt rarely works.
Can I add names as well as the logo?
Yes. Individual names, job titles or accreditations are usually embroidered on the right chest, opposite the company logo.
What if my logo file is poor quality?
Send it anyway. We will tell you honestly whether it will reproduce well at the size you want, and what needs changing if not.
How should branded polos be washed?
Follow the garment label, and turn printed garments inside out. Our workwear care guide has the practical detail.
